These Terms of Use apply to osagsomalia.com, the public portal of the Office of the State Attorney General of the Federal Republic of Somalia (OSAG).
Purpose of this portal
This website is a public information service. OSAG is the lawyer and legal advisor of the Federal Government. It is not a prosecutor. The portal publishes the Official Bulletin and other legal records so government and the public can read them.
Acceptable use
- You may read, download, and share published documents for lawful purposes.
- You may contact the Office through the published forms and addresses.
- You may not try to disrupt the site, misuse the contact form, or present unofficial copies as Official Bulletin text.
Public records
Documents on this portal are provided as published by OSAG. If a file and a later Official Bulletin issue differ, the Official Bulletin as published by the Office prevails. Titles, translations, and summaries are for guidance and do not replace the signed or published Bulletin text.
No legal advice to the public
Content on this site is general information. It is not legal advice to private persons or companies. OSAG advises the Federal Government. If you need personal legal help, consult a qualified lawyer.
Accounts and subscriptions
Most of the portal is open without an account. Newsletter subscription is optional. Admin access is limited to authorised staff of the Office.
Intellectual property
The OSAG name, emblem, and site design belong to the Office. Official legal texts remain public records. Please credit the Office when you republish a document from this portal.
Availability
We aim to keep the portal available, but access may be interrupted for maintenance, security, or reasons beyond our control.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
